They are almost identical to some of the cycling shorts I wear. I thought maybe the padding or material would be different, but it's the same type of padding in the exact same area. After 2 hours on a motorbike (85-90 F) and high humidity, they seem better than regular underwear under my jeans. Soon I will try to drive a longer distance; they are a little hot in the saddle and very hot = uncomfortable without the bike. I'm sure the cool weather will help. But they should help cool you down in the heat. Not as expensive as other brands.
