They arrive in the mail in a small flat envelope and this is the first indication that they are not very thick. They are packed in a vacuum bag that you can't imagine there are 100 pieces. There are 100. They're individually wrapped, all taped together, and about half a dollar in size. Opening individual wrapped packets and then pulling the shower cap apart to open it without tearing the cap off is the frustrating part. Once you get over the frustration of opening them, they keep your hair dry and disposable. I don't think they were ever meant to be used more than once. I strongly recommend that you always open before jumping in the shower.
