This is EXACTLY what we need in front of my husband after surgery. Other types of patches will not work under glasses because they are too thick. They are great for patients who need to blindfold without the patch touching the eye. This allows airflow to the eyes while blocking light from the side and front. This greatly reduced the instability caused by temporary double vision. It was easy enough to "remove" by sliding it along the edge of the goggles, and it stayed close by to reattach. I myself will be using it in a few weeks when doing my regular scheduled eye surgery. Temporary blurred vision has always bothered me to the point where I was usually completely useless. After my husband's rave reviews, now I'm not so afraid of the procedure as I have a good blindfolded option. (Note: if you have to wear an eye patch after cancer surgery, you can buy a good pirate hat. Getting a parrot might be overkill though.)
