Review on Ergonomic Office Chair High Wheels by Cindy Jones

I'm someone who has gone through product reviews (days and hours looking for a good work chair) and taken a big risk (and very different from me ) to buy office chair without reviews. I squinted at so many chairs and read the reviews that I decided this $50 off of the day might be worth the risk. The packaging was well done and the box probably cost the advertised £39. The only thing I expected was that the base of the chair would be assembled. I emptied the box and was wondering what the rather large piece was when I opened one of the smaller boxes and saw the parts/pieces to be assembled. It's ok as I'm very good at building cabinets from Ikea. It took about 35 minutes to assemble and I was grateful for the help attaching the guns. The headrest is a bit painful to get the Allen key in the right position to tighten it top to bottom. This chair definitely offers great lumbar/lower back support and I can already say that I am sitting up straighter. For me it was a good idea to have arms that go up instead of moving up/down; The up/down arms just weren't low enough to slide under my desk. The seat is very hard and might be too hard but time will tell. As much as I hate it because it messes everything up, I could put a pillow on a chair. The only thing currently keeping this chair from a 5 star rating is the seat depth. I sit in my chair in the highest position and use the footrest, but in my previous chair the seat was low enough that the edge of the seat touched the backs of my knees. I'm about 5'4", so if you have average hip-to-knee proportions (or have an extra galley that takes up space) you might not like this chair. For the price I paid, will live with it for a while and hope to get used to it.I am eyeing chairs for about $100-$150 more and hope I don't regret this purchase.Have been in a chair for three days and have to be like that all the time Sliding as far back as possible in the seat - feels like leaning forward. will keep trying but will probably buy another chair soon.
