I finally got the chance to try them out after running 14 miles in them for the first time. I am really impressed! I was afraid to switch from my favorite Saucony Ride, but for now I dare say I like them more. The cushioning is just right for me; I usually prefer the perfect combination of cushioning, stability and stiffness just the way I like it, and I need that connection to the ground for long runs too. They definitely felt like they were dissipating some of the punch from my punch. To jump straight into a 14-mile run without really pausing, they held up fantastically. They don't chafe, very comfortable, ultra light, overall a great balance of properties. Haven't ridden them in the rain yet and probably won't for a while, so I can't compare how they fared on the ride. I am always 1/2 size larger than my usual shoe size so I went for 9 and they fit as expected. I'm on the narrower side when it comes to the big narrow versus broad debate. I play a heel that wants to hit more midfoot shots and they have a great transitional feel for me.
