I did a lot of digging to make sure these mirrors fit and work as advertised on my truck (2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 5.3L LT) as I didn't originally have towing mirrors or turn signals. At least I was sure when I looked and saw the RPO code in the glove box. If you're wondering if you can add signal mirrors to your truck, check your RPO codes to make sure you can do this (speak to your local dealer to verify your exact required RPO code). Mirrors fit perfectly with no problems. The instructions were clear and easy to understand and follow. All cable clamps were in the right place on the wiring harness and fit directly without any modifications. I have had them installed since July 2014 and am very happy with these ready to use mirrors. The extension allows me to see around my boat whether I'm on the road or reversing into a lake. Once in place, they work just fine, if not better than the stock mirrors. The turn signals are bright, but they don't direct or bother the driver or passenger. Great product, great price, easy to install, works great.
