I like this dock. This is the first dock I've tried so I'm completely unfamiliar with other designs etc. I am very happy with it. Now I have a phone in a thin case and it suits me. I only have two complaints about it: 1) It's lightweight, so when you remove your phone you have to use another finger or hand to detach the phone from the dock. It doesn't fall over completely, however, like the phone leaning forward a bit on the dock, so it's balanced enough to keep your phone securely in the dock and doesn't feel like it's going to tip over too easily. 2) When the phone is directly in the docking station and music is playing, the speaker will be muted during playback. However, this was easily circumvented by placing the ID behind the phone, allowing it to recline far enough to reveal the phone's speaker. Since there are no built-in speakers in this dock, you can opt for a phone speaker or something that plugs into the audio jack. All in all, it's not a bad dock; no fancy frills, doesn't take up much space on your bedside table, and the 2.1A charger provides enough current to charge as fast as the one that comes with the phone; An extra micro USB cable is welcome. Your options are the phone's speaker or something connected to the audio jack.
