I bought a six pack of these Capstone flashlights to replace some old Capstone flashlights that have worn out over the years. The new design is flat with a night light on the front of the detachable flashlight module. The charger in which the flashlight is located is designed for 120 volt sockets with earthing contact. The plug rotates 270 degrees, allowing the charging case to keep the flashlight upright in most wall outlets, regardless of the outlet's orientation. The flashlight will automatically turn on to medium brightness when removed from the holster or when a power outage occurs. Love the fact that the light can be removed from the charging base without having to unplug the charger which is pretty much unique for a Capstone product. I give five stars for ease of use and flexibility. I'm deducting a star from the overall rating because the night light has a very bright blue tint. The night light is so bright that you may find it difficult to fall asleep if you are in the same room with the flashlight on the charger. Some opaque tapes can solve the problem of too bright light in places where it is necessary to stay in the dark. If Capstone is reading this, here are some suggestions for improving the product: 1. Lower the night light brightness and make it yellow instead of blue. -White. 2. Instead of a flashlight, place a night light on the charging station to make it easier for you to find the charger in the dark and turn on the flashlight again.
