to redo the electrical connections on my 3D printer after reading that ferrules on the ends of the wires make much more reliable connections. Comes with an excellent selection of different size ferrules to accommodate different wire sizes. And there are plenty of those, that should be enough for a while. Using it couldn't be simpler, choose an appropriately sized ferrule and slip it over the end of the wire (twist first if the wire is stranded). Then place the metal part of the ferrule in the crimping tool and press together. Gorilla hands are not required to use. The results are excellent, the tip is firmly attached to the wire and should not come loose. I work with DIN rails to make connections so these cables need to make a strong and secure connection with ferrules.
