Most people would buy this cooler because their OEM block will let them down, normally the plastic end tanks wear out. In my case, the cooling capacity of the normal radiator was simply not enough. After getting the ECT temp over 215 degrees in normal city driving, I had to increase the antifreeze. My car comes equipped with an aftermarket supercharger that effectively makes everything run hotter. After trying an oil cooler to cool down temperatures I had no choice but to buy this unit. First off, it's an incredible item, but it even comes in an incredible box and packaging. More importantly, there is a LIFETIME WARRANTY even if your car has been in an accident. It's hard to compete with, but the real question is how does it work. GOOD Once installed (using MISHIMOTO fans and universal mounting kit) I was pleasantly surprised with the fit and ease of installation. To top it off, a 50/40/10 mixture of distilled water/antifreeze/coolant will make the car run noticeably cooler. ECT is just under 190 right now, which would provoke my fans, but it hasn't happened yet. I was chasing a car in MID-OHIO on a hot and comfortable 85 degree day recently. The car started with no sign of overheating. I actually didn't have to worry about the car overheating and was able to focus on driving which made the day that much better. I 100% recommend this high quality solid aluminum block for your import. The main thing is to make room for the hippopotamus. While the factory OEM Integra radiator measures 0.75 core and 1.25 end tank depth, this bad boy --> triple core is much larger and the gap between header and fan may be an issue for some. It really depends on whether your car uses OEM equipment or fancy aftermarket parts. Either way, a solid product at a great price with a lifetime warranty makes this purchase a no-brainer.
