This is plastic with 3M tape. I've had them for a few months now and they've weathered storms, car washes, hand washes and sitting in the hot sun here in the south. They are still glued and there is no fear that they will fall off! :) I've read reviews of needing to press and hold for a few minutes after applying and I'm glad I did because it really makes a difference. They come in a little straight, so keeping them on the jeep helps keep them from curling when you apply them.
