Review on 🌊 Coats Yarn Ocean Scrubby: The Ultimate Yarn for Scrubbing by Gelin Battle

I found out about this yarn in Knitting Chat and decided to try it. My only real complaint is that it didn't fit Prime and the shipping cost was almost the same as for the product. I don't really like the shade of blue. It probably looks like the picture. I knit a 5 inch square in garter stitch on size 8 needle. Done in about 1/2 hour. It is very suitable for hand washing dishes, lightly soiled pots and pans, sinks, stoves. does not scratch the skin. In fact, I think it would make a great bath scrub too. What I really like is how quickly it air dries. I was hesitant to wash it in the dishwasher as the label says to wash warm. But it came out of the dishwasher fine. I also tried to make a second kitchen towel that is half this yarn and half cotton. Do not do that. The cotton half took about 3 days to air dry, including one such day outdoors in the sun on the porch railing. I think one skein of yarn will make about five 5 inch bows.
