Review on Artscape Available 24X36Magnolia Wind Inches by Sally Reynolds

Quality product with a hidden bonus

In our 40 year old kitchen we have a 3 x 3 grid of 2ft square light panels. On the middle panel, I attached the Magnolia film to the flat, shiny underside of a 2-foot square of 1/16-inch frosted acrylic. The foil itself looks well made, quite thick and easy to apply and move around. The print quality is excellent. At first I thought of replacing all 9 light panels with foil but there would be too much light loss and some color shift. Even with one panel, my wife and I really like the look. Other patterns with less color density might have worked, but we really liked the rich, intense colors of the Magnolia design. With cooling LEDs positioned a few inches above the light bar, heat wasn't an issue. I had some concerns about adhesion to acrylic on a horizontal surface. It's been two weeks and so far so good. As a bonus, the inside of the thick tear-off backing is a pretty decent surface for dry-erase markers. Fees." The photographs show two views of the illuminated and the unilluminated panel.
