This is a REALLY nice mount that can hold either an iPad or a phone or both. Here's the problem: there's no way to adjust the rotary voltage. Hands and iPad mini are in place, hands sag and roll forward rendering it unusable. upset. I looked around a lot, found this at a great price, but couldn't find any tension adjusters. I will come back the next day after receipt. I know the saying, you get what you pay for. Looks like I'll have to spend over $40 to get what I need. If they added a turnbuckle or increased the resistance I would consider buying it. Their packaging, advertising and assembly were of high quality. If you're using this to store a small to medium-sized smartphone, it can probably work quite well. However, if you want to add some sort of hood for shade, you may find that the extra weight causes problems for you, as it did for me.
