Excellent scale for filling home brew kegs with a caveat
Well built and accurate and a great size for filling ordinary kegs in a closed system. Tare the keg, add 42 pounds of product and you're done. No more guesswork or overflow. The only thing stopping them from being perfect for this task is that the scale doesn't recognize the weight gain from refueling as activity and falls asleep after 3 minutes of this "inactivity". If you turn it back on, it loses its keg container. An easy way to avoid this is to lift the keg from time to time. If you forget, just add the weight of the keg to 42 pounds and fill up to that weight instead. A little uncomfortable but I think it's worth it for the great weight at a very good price.
