They have a subtle metallic look. They aren't as good as other metal balls I've bought. Not even close. First I pumped about 20 on a mild day, about 75 degrees outside. I had 16 outside and 4 inside. The internals were ok. The outer ones started to shrink and seemed to be powdery within half an hour. All my other metal balls (different brand) were fine. Within an hour, half of the 16 burst. When I filled them with helium, my hands turned green from working with them. Generally they are rubbish, avoid them.
