Review on πŸ”Š Sony RDPM5IP Portable Speaker Dock: Black, Compatible with iPhone/iPod (30-Pin) by April Goracke

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great portability but not great sound

Pros:1. Easy to use 2. Portable3. Batteries are not required; AC power plug provided4. The remote control is easy to use 5. Works on all MP3 players. Just buy a 3.5mm stereo audio cable for the adapter on the back of the speaker. Cons: 1. Audio sounds compressed so you don't get the full range of voices and instruments; it sounds like you are listening to AM radio. 2. Doesn't sound any better than your average $30 radio, CD or cassette player. 3. Good for a small office but not so good for a home. The volume gets loud enough to fill the house, but it requires there to be no other noises in the house, such as: a running dryer if you want to hear it without straining your ears. Opinion: Not bad for the money. This is perfect for a very small office or office at work. But if you plan on using it at home, spend another thirty dollars and buy a Logitech S715i. The sound is much richer, you will not regret buying it.
