Review on πŸŽ₯ Dazzne S40 Stabilizer: 15.75" Steadicam for DSLR Nikon, Canon, Sony, Panasonic - 0.2-1.5kg Capacity by Tim Roby

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Solid, inexpensive stop bolts made of solid metal. Strange level choice.

I got this by looking at a few different models in the under $100 range and it was pretty good. Comes with a large number of weights to balance the stabilizer. There is also a carry case to store it away when not in use. Some things to note about this stabilizer. Instructions are almost non-existent. So if you've never balanced a stabilizer before, you'll need to turn to the internet for a tutorial on how to do it. Also the bubble levels built into the stabilizer are a good idea but not very useful in practice as they are centering levels intended to be used from above and not flat levels. This allows the layers in the knobs to work without rotation, but there are too many differences in being round and to the side to be very accurate. Only two large weights are needed, the remaining 4 weights stay in the bag. Although I can't complain about the price. It works well and uses metal for all stop bolts and knobs so the plastic bits don't break like some other similar models.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • For seniors
