I decided to revive the computer on the mainland MSI p32 neo which turned 15 years old. I bought a disk in the Amazon for 5900 plus a cable for 199. The motherboard does not have AHCI, only IDE, while the read / write speed is 265 MB / s. In the Samsung Magician application, I set the economy mode and allocated as much as 39% of the disk space to Over Provisioning in the hope that the SSD will please for many years. The application says that TRIM is enabled, this cannot be because I do not have AHCI support, unless the disk has its own standalone garbage collector or TRIM has already started working without AHCI.
