I wrote ASICS about this shoe, model 6. I agree with other reviewers who think that Amazon purchases may be fakes and not ASICS store purchases because they are so uncomfortable. I would compare it to walking barefoot on concrete. Another reviewer mentioned that she can only wear ASICS made in a certain country and ASICS made in certain places have gotten cheaper or something. This shoe reminded me of Walmart tennis shoes that never shrink. ASICS told me that Amazon sells fakes and recommended the Halo as the most cushioned shoe. The Venture 6 I ordered here was comfortable enough for my foot, but the removable insole was very flimsy and unsupportive. Under the insole, the material your foot sits on was either hard plastic or nylon with a mesh pattern.
