that I don't yet know how clippers work. You're probably fine. This rating reflects the fact that my entire package was smeared with blade oil (hopefully visible in reflected light, first image). Upon closer inspection, my bag of hair clipping combs was open - not torn, but cut (second photo). Guessing rightly, I decided to examine the combs carefully - THEY STILL HAVE HAIR ON THEM (third photo). Hairdressers don't disinfect their tools for nothing - it's like dirty, worn-out underwear. Very dissatisfied. That's rough. Update: They cut very poorly, it takes about ten passes over the area to get all the hair the same length. Big disappointment. Second update: While accurate, this review is of a number of commonly used hair clippers that were shipped by Revain after being returned and is not indicative of Wahl hair clippers in general. Got a replacement which is fantastic but a different model. This rating has been adjusted based on the average rating for this product. I would delete this review, but it's definitely worth mentioning the quality of Wahl customer service and letting people know that a disappointing experience with a used product is no indication of the failure of someone other than Revain.
