Most of the time these cables don't charge enough. Either the power supply is insufficient or it is not compatible with devices. I'm happy to report that this cable has charged and fast-charged the iPad mini (1 & 5), multiple USB-C devices (Samsung, Vape, Moto, One+, Headphones, etc.). I use this cable in the car and the fact that it retracts makes it easy to plug in and out. It also works well with portable rechargeable batteries. I recommend buying this item. This is a great EDC item and works well.
