Bought to speed up a relative's laptop. They used to be on a 5400RPM hard drive, which was very slow when Windows started. Installed the hard drive there is a noticeable difference in speed compared to the previous one. The hard drive is still used as a secondary drive as it is definitely fast enough without being slowed down by an operating system. 128 GB is enough for Windows, since most documents, pictures and media are stored on the 2 TB hard drive. , so storage isn't an issue as the additional drive has more than enough room for all your important files.
