Flashback: one year later.
The safety feature on the burners on this gas hob is theoretically a good idea. In practice, however, burners are very difficult to ignite and hold the flame. The instructions say to press down, then twist the knob and hold for five seconds. This method only works for two of the five burners. The remaining three burners do not support the flame at all and only after holding the handle tenaciously for more than a minute, which sometimes stays on; it's inconsistent. I cannot recommend this product. I hope that future versions will work more easily.
