Appropriate size. . . a very good quality.
These Widgetco dowels are always designed to fit the specified hole size exactly as they should. Most other brands are undersized, usually to the point of being virtually unusable. I don't know why people give them more than one star for "uselessness". . . pretty useless. I guess they want the corks to fall out for some weird reason.
