Simple product does what it says on the tin. I read the other reviews before purchasing and bought my own 2 1/2 inch (#8) skewers. These brackets come with 1 1/2" screws, but you'll need the extra length to hold up if someone tries to break open the door (the bracket itself is sturdy). I took a box of 50 pieces. At the same time, replace the set screws with longer screws, again for added strength. My locks had short screws.
