The shortened latch can easily get stuck in whatever device you connect it to. Don't get caught on it and then try to remove it, it will flip the latch to a vertical position and lock the connector in place until you bend it back and strain the plastic. It is likely that due to repeated stress, the latch will soon break and either become stuck in the connector or break, preventing a proper seat. Value: 5/5.
