I wanted to get rid of our nonstick cookware because we have parrots and Teflon and its kin are dangerous to birds with their smoke sensitive lungs. My husband's only concern was that the pins weren't hot. These stainless steel babies with silicone grips are a perfect match! They cook excellently at a much lower temperature and you only need to preheat them in oil so they don't stick when frying. I like that they are heavy. These aren't cheap pots and pans that crumple easily when tossed in the cupboard. You are also very attractive! winner in everything!
