Now he is white. But wait!

Adhesive on the back lasts approx. 6 months. I reattached them with gorilla glue which expired after a few months. Looking at the number of comments about glue failure, I think it's because bumpers are made out of a pliable material and every time someone sits on the seat, the material creases, not crumples. I suspect that constant movement will loosen the adhesive. I tried hot glue with a heat gun I picked up at work. Seems to be holding up for several months now. I also have a padded seat; It's made of vinyl that wraps around itself, so the bumper tries to stick to the vinyl, which itself is a softer material than, say, wood or plastic. Maybe that's contributing to the problem. This time, before using hot glue, I took sandpaper and sanded both surfaces. This is probably a good idea before gluing the bumper to the seat, especially as people with hard plastic seats seem to have trouble gluing. Also, as the title says. It's white at the moment, but wait - it'll turn yellow in a few months. It's still fully functional, I mean the material isn't corroding or anything, but it's yellowing. It's for a dude, it's normal, but I guarantee that if my mom were here, she'd freak out if the bumpers didn't fit the white seat, even though they'd never come out of the seat or the cover in a million years would come out .seats. where the bumpers are first seen. I'm just talking
