Hamster hasn't escaped yet
I bought this for my Syrian hamster so she can play safely with my kids while I clean her cage. One day she hit a table leg and the lid burst. After reading other reviews I warned my girls and husband that this could happen so they quickly found the escaped Hummy. Since then I've been making the top twist and click before we let her go - I'm not sure if that was the day she escaped. Some websites say you should limit the time your hamster is in the ball so we only use it when I'm cleaning his cage.
