Purchased for our older and younger kittens (2). The size is perfect where I wanted it. Under the window. A kitten in a hammock and one in bed, and they're ready to run around and play for hours. I think in the future the hammock might be too small depending on how big the kittens grow as adults, but we have time to fix this issue. Assembly was easy and the instructions are clear. The hardest part was attaching the base to the galley level; You try to align the screw holes by feel. Finally, use the Allen key provided to align both holes. Two people are needed for this part of the assembly, I assemble the rest by myself. My only complaint is that the kittens now want to sleep in the tree at night instead of in bed with me lol.
