My old Metrocan looks crappy so I've settled on something less ugly. Not a good reason to buy, I admit. Anyway, the thing is nice, but so poorly constructed that the tip of the screw barely protrudes past the rim of the bottleneck, almost to the middle. You can only see how this thing tears them apart. No, I haven't tested this, but I've missed the center myself enough times (usually on the second bottle) to know what's going to happen. which has a plastic part that breaks after a few years. I see it doesn't come with an extra screw anymore, I think they admit it doesn't last long enough to need it. I would say OXO Vertical is your best choice.
