I am very impressed with this Hamilton Beach iron, I think they are better known for their other home appliances and this is my first time trying their iron. From the shiny stainless steel sole to the handle, sprayer and water tank, everything is made of quality materials, not cheap plastic. By the way, my old iron dripped so much that ironing was like a sponge :). So far this iron doesn't leak at all and holds the water level very well when ironing, remember not to fill it above the max fill line. The Spray and Steam buttons work very well and are easy to press. The steam is stronger than my last leaky iron and very consistent. So I've only been using this iron for a few days and haven't had to clean the soleplate yet, but there is a self-clean button that washes away residue when needed and seems effective. This iron heats up quickly and gets very hot, so be careful. There are three heating levels on the middle pane (1st easy-care, 2nd wool/silk, 3rd linen/cotton). So I tried the ultimate heat which is cotton and as shown in the attached pictures it smoothes out wrinkles very easily in just a few passes. The stainless steel soleplate is really smooth and just keeps sliding as you run the iron over your clothes. But the beauty of this iron is the auto shut off feature. It will turn off if it falls on your face or side for 1 minute and if you stand on your heel inactive for 30 minutes. To reactivate, simply move the iron and the sensor will automatically turn the iron back on. In general, this is a quality iron that is worth the money. Well made of high quality materials, strong, durable and definitely smooth out wrinkles. The extra 10ft cable is also a must for me. As a result, he coped with his task very effectively, there were no more wrinkles :).
