Review on Enclume 3 Piece Long Fireplace Tools, Hammered Steel by Dwayne Quarles

While these Enclume tools are attractive and well made, you don't actually get what's shown in the photo. The tongs are not the 3-prong type shown, made of square stock like the other tools. Enclume now ships a cheaper, 2-prong tong, that does not grasp the logs nearly as securely as the former style. It's also made of flat stock, and differs in appearance from the other tools. Enclume makes no disclaimer that the tongs different, even on their own website. "Tongs is tongs" is their position.If you are buying these tools for looks, fine. If you want functional tools for moving hot logs, think twice. I am stuck, mine came from a reseller who wants $$ for returning them.
