Based on John's recommendation and video I bought this inverter. Overall it looks like a solid unit. It's bigger than I need, but I also like a bit of headroom. Worked two hours in a row at a load of 750 watts. I used wire #2 for a 280Ah lithium battery. The only heat I've seen is the shunt, so I'll have to bypass it. I use it to power Starlink and charge my Talaria e-bike from the solar system in my RV. A few cons. First it is set to 110 volts. It drops to 107 volts by inverting 750 watts. I'm pretty sure there is an adjustment potentiometer inside, so it would be nice to be able to get 120 volts without having to take the case apart to make these adjustments. Second, as long as the inverter has an auto shutoff at 10 volts, it would be nice to be able to make adjustments. At 10 volts, lithium battery cells are at least 2.5 volts each. I connected the wires after the BMS so it's not a big issue, but if you're connecting directly to the battery it could be a problem or lack of low voltage headroom. For example, if you clip 11 volts, the cells will stay at 2.75 volts each, extending their lifespan.
