This worked very well. I have bought it twice with 2 issues: two large freckles/age spots and a 3 x 4 dark spot on my neck. The age spots were caused by sun damage where the light was focused through my glasses (upper cheek). A dark patch from constant sun exposure (you could see the shadow from my chin). I used it as directed - day and night before moisturizer. It's been 3 weeks. My neck is completely straight now and age spots are almost gone - I wouldn't have noticed them if I wasn't looking. I expect them to go too. I have no idea how that thing works. I know that when applied, the damaged area will turn slightly red for a few minutes. If I put on a moisturizer and go outside, this effect is gone. It's not a cover: it doesn't work out of the box. But he said the effect will come in two weeks, and that's true. I am very comfortable.
