At first I was not happy!
Then I realized it was my mistake and not the guards. When I put the guards on it just did not seem to sit all the way down and the gimbals moved. After looking at it for a minute I figured it out. There is a small edge that needs to got between the remote and the arms. Then it sits flat and locks them in place. I was excited to see DJI have the removable gimbals sticks but until I purchased the drone. I can't tell you how many times I have been ready to fly and noticed the sticks are still stored away. This saves me from taking them off. The only downside I would say is that it no longer makes the remote compact. Oh and they need some instructions or arrow pointing to how to put it on. on
