Made from clear acrylic plastic which is very brittle. The brittleness makes these organizers vulnerable to damage from broken and cracked panels. The thickness of the material is a little thin, which increases the likelihood of breakage or cracking. The lips have scalloped edges, indicating a mediocre finish. As noted on other posters, some of them arrived with rips or broken corners (the 15" x 6" tray had a broken corner and a tear in the fabric), despite the bag and corrugated cardboard. First aid kit organizers (small, with a couple of slots) that I bought from another company were thicker but could still suffer from cobweb tears and had a smooth finish.
