I knew this crystal was "dyed" in colors to make it look rainbow-colored, but I honestly thought the colors would last at least half a year or so. But, after only 3 months, on one side of the crystal, there is a pretty obvious area where it's clear that the colors have started to chip away. I have literally only worn this crystal maybe 3 or 4 times in the time that I've had it (March to June) since I started noticing the chipping. The look of the crystal is nice, but it's going to start to chip away, so it's your call on whether you want to buy it.
