Review on Hansgrohe Bodyspray Upgrade 2 Inch 28467001 by Heather Brown

At home there were already 2 very old Hans Grohe body showers in the shower, both of which have seen better days. They leaked profusely and spattered randomly due to mineral buildup inside. I chose them because they are also from Hansgrohe and the mount matched mine. I am very impressed. I love the fact that the atomizers are made out of soft rubber so it's easy to remove any mineral build up and I love the fact that they can be adjusted and guided instead of just clipping in. I don't plan on using the on/off function as I have a separate volume control, but this function works well. They were tricky to install as the instructions suggested using teflon tape (not included) on the pipe, but the pipe is IN THE WALL by definition so this is not possible. I took a small tube of sanitary grease and lubricated the threads inside the atomizer before installing it (don't use too much!) and it seemed to work. I also needed a large pair of pliers for the channel locks as my #10 crescent wrench wasn't enough to install them. Make sure you have a tube of silicone sealant for the tub and shower, as you will need to carefully seal the area between the pipe and the wall before installing the diffusers. Overall a great product if you have the right tools.
