Update: Recently noticed - this case actually managed to bend the metal of the iPad on the exposed part closest to the hinge of the magic keyboard case. The keyboard case has also been bent/bent so that the camera cutout is slightly off the iPad when the case is removed. Luckily, Apple agreed to replace them for me under AppleCare. If you don't have AppleCare+, just don't risk it. Drop/scratch damage in a bag is better than this. Update: Changed from 5 to 1 star. After removing the case as precisely shown in the instructions, there are now permanent scratches on the corners of the iPad and the dual microphones. The Magic Keyboard now also comes up against the hinge with a strange little outward bulge. I'm surprised they sold this as it did a lot of damage to a $1400+ device. Original: use without screen protector and keyboard cover of the 2nd generation. The first impression is good. Light and magic keyboard closes completely. My only concern is that the hinge on the back of the Magic Keyboard protrudes a bit when closed (it folds back to hold the iPad in place when open). Will be updated in a few months if it holds up well or if the keyboard gets damaged.
