Bought this for my two girls because they wanted to play makeup. Good compact box, arrived well packaged with no damage. That leads me to believe this would be a good travel set. It also has a great color choice and my girls are having a lot of fun with it! I think this is a good makeup kit for young girls or an aspiring makeup artist who wants to practice/experiment with makeup colors. It would also be nice to have on hand to complete your collection with a variety of colors - for party outfits or even if you are looking for a specific color to go with your dress. But I couldn't imagine adding this to my "everyday use" collection. I tried it and found the quality to be so-so. Not sure if we got an older batch. But even with a light touch of the brush, the eye powder falls apart (much more than usual). And since the sides of the box aren't very flexible, it tends to fall back and forth. And since we've only had this kit for a few weeks, I can't say how well it will hold up over time. But for the price I'd say it's excellent value for money and fully meets the requirements. why we bought it.
