Inaccurate Good fit for kitchen utensils and gadgets

I have two new ovens and I bought this thermometer to calibrate the temperature. I set both ovens to 350 degrees and held them at that temperature for about 20 minutes. The thermometer read 300 degrees in one oven and about 305 degrees in the second oven. I shook the thermometer after taking it out of the second oven and the needle jumped about 10 degrees. So it's basically useless for calibration.
