Protection from the sun.

It clamps very well and stays in place. I used it on my folding lawn chair. Has its own carrying case and weighs almost nothing. I love it!

While portable, still takes up additional space and may be cumbersome to carry

Attaches easily to chairs and the umbrella is adjustable, so it can follow the sun to offer protection. We take this on cruise ships, as the ships never offer any umbrellas.
