Despite its flaws, the console has impressed me with its ease of use and quickness for the past week or so. Accelerated game loading times (in Killzone Shadow Fall, this only occurs at the outset, and is thus not visible in-game or in-video). Some games from other publishers, as well as all indie games, load normally. The Share button has received a lot of praise; it makes it easy to share screenshots, record gameplay, and coordinate let's plays. The gamepad can be charged while in standby mode, and game and ate downloads will continue in the background. The touchpad works well (albeit its responsiveness is only seen in War Thunder and to a lesser extent in Killzone), the headset jack proved to be quite useful for me, and the controller is both more portable and more satisfying to the touch than the Xbox 360 controller. (I see a cool approach to combine a camera and the gamepad's built-in gyroscope to type text by moving it in space.) An fantastic "play while downloading" capability; to continue using Killzone: Shadow Fall as an example, from 40GB, it is sufficient to download 7 to begin playing; the remaining data will be downloaded in the background while you play. The hard drive is easily removable and replaceable. (Check out the prerequisites to see what you have to perform) Worth mentioning is PS Plus, which requires a membership in order to participate in multiplayer activities (with the exception of free-to-play projects), but provides subscribers with free game rentals each month. The PS4, PS3, and PSV can all use the same subscription. In the first month of use, you will receive at least 25% of the subscription. Its connectivity with mobile phones (you can use it to type messages on your phone) and Remote play feature (which lets you play PS4 on PS Vita anyplace with fast Wi-Fi) are two more appealing features. Given the scarcity, I wouldn't recommend buying it right away, especially considering the price in 2022 and the issues with loudness and battery life that the gamepad presents for younger players, but I'm not disappointed; I still think it's a great system.
