Review on John Boos CHYKCT1225-O Cherry Kitchen Counter Top With Varnique Finish | 1.5" Thickness | 18" X 25 by Abdulkarim Sugge

When ordering a table, especially a brand I was unaware of, my biggest concern was how the overall look of the grains together. The look was fantastic. I'm guessing the builders hand-select the pieces to go together, rather than being totally robotic. Their brand of lacquer is great as well. There were no dings on the visible five sides. There were some scuffs on the bottom side, but that's how any hand-made piece would be. Two minor, negative dings that I would give them a 4.5 star for. 1. I was hoping the bottom would also be fully lacquered, and it's just got a base, semi-protective layer. Again, this is typical of most wood furniture, but it should be detailed in the description, and possibly an option to select when ordering. 2. The delivery company of choice was horrible. I'm not sure if that's Boos' or Best Buy's fault. That company subcontracted to another that dropped my delivery curbside, without signature, next to my garbage.on my designated garbage day no less. I have a drive way, so a little closer to the house would have been nice, rather than a packaged item, on a pallet, easy to throw in a truck. I can't give a half star, and since the quality is so good, I'm rounding up to 5 star.
