I am using this solution to use a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse between two computers. There's a one or two second delay after pressing the button, but it doesn't feel too long. I have an old Logitech wireless solution that doesn't aggregate but works out of the box. I ordered a new Logitech keyboard and mouse with Unified Connections and read here that they work great too. The package includes two USB cables needed to connect two computers. You don't need to buy any other USB cables. Everything is working well. Only downside, if I have to enumerate something, is that the button needs to be pressed with some force. I want the button to be lighter. Update (3/18/14): I've had this for over a year and wanted to add a few things. The button is small and narrow, it takes some force to press it. It's annoying if you switch back and forth frequently. Also, often one channel doesn't recognize the mouse/keyboard; I have to toggle back and forth to make it work (one flip is usually enough). Since purchasing this I've noticed that there are other options (listed below). Haven't tried them yet, but they've gotten good reviews. Both devices have large buttons, so this at least solves one of my complaints about the plug-in switch. The caveat is that they're a lot more expensive at $35 and $30 respectively. One channel works stably, and the second is constantly buggy. It can work from time to time and will only get worse over time. Having initially had good experiences, I decided to give Plugable another chance by buying the USB3 version. The USB3 version has two buttons (with blue LEDs), one for each channel instead of one button in the USB2 version. It is less. Each switch takes 4-5 seconds. It appears to be slower than the USB2 version but has been stable so far. As described, it comes with 2 USB3. I connected it to USB2 ports and it works fine. The button itself is wider than the USB2 version, so it doesn't rest as much on the fingertips. It's easier to use. So far so good, except for the 4-5 second delay, but I'm not aware of any other products that perform better.
