I noticed that they are a little tight in the toe area but I have to say "very slightly tight" because in this case the word "tight" seems too big . I am also diabetic and this has affected my feet. The outer edge of the big toe of the right foot hurts with any pressure on it. I think once I wear the shoes for a while and the leather of the shoes loosens up a bit, everything will be fine. - The left shoe feels absolutely great, although it also has roughly the same feel. It's just a little "tight". I took the advice to buy half a size larger than I normally wear. a shoe model that I bought at least 6 years ago. I'm very glad I did! My old shoes were worn out. I've totally "relaxed" after so many years, but they always felt a little tight. The new pair already feels and fits better than the old pair. I just hope they last as long as the older pair. I recommend this shoe and love that it offers so much width. I also went to a wider width based on the suggestion of increasing the size by 1/2. I am satisfied with the Propet brand. I give him 5 stars.
