I was finally fed up with the cheap plastic check book cover from the bank which was falling apart, also I was starting a new business and wanted something decent so I wanted to try one of these for my personal account to check the quality check and also replace the plastic that I have been using for years. I chose the brown Crazy Horse. It's beautifully stitched, has a great new leather smell and comes with everything I need. The separator that comes with it is great for my duplicate receipts. A brand new checkbook folds up nicely for sealing, but like every checkbook cover I've used, I always wrap it with a rubber band. I don't use a receipt recorder but if I did it would be more difficult to close because it's not flimsy plastic, it's durable leather, there are internal slots, a pocket, an ID window, etc. the more difficult it becomes to just close it. Probably the only way to solve this problem is to make a wider midsection, although this would generally make the product wider. All internals work great. It looks professional, looks good and for ten bucks I'm thrilled! I didn't want to spend forty bucks but still wanted an attractive leather product and after looking through all the options this seemed like the best thing to try and I'm very happy with what got to me.
