I have an old MacBookPro 13” from 2011 and decided to buy a new travel case for it. My previous case was an old BestBuy Targus which served me well until it wore out. So this time I knew exactly what I wanted. I have ordered and returned several. Many of them were cheaply made, not safe, too big/too small and many had side pockets for your stuff to slide out of. However, this is the one! I love everything about this tomtoc, the fabric lining goes perfectly with every part of the bag. The main laptop compartment is soft and luxurious. The side compartment is lightly padded and the pockets are elastic. The top back grip is perfect IMO. I never used the shoulder straps on my last case so I didn't mind that they were removed on this model. The price is higher than any cases I've returned, but seriously, it's a job for the money. If you spend good money on your electronics, now really isn't the time to skimp on protecting your goods ;)
